How To Create Ideal Virtual Learning Areas For Optimal Development Affordably & Creatively
One thing that parents are experiencing right now is the feeling of uncertainty. How do I create spaces in my home that are JUST for school, JUST for rest & JUST for play? We understand that not everyone’s home is large enough to have “school” take place in one room & family time in another. So, we’ve put together this list of creative ways that you can create those spaces in your dining room, closet, or bathroom!
For example, a dining table is perfect for a kids’ hangout spot. Throw a sheet over the table & underneath becomes its own little world. Kids love that! And, the bathroom can be used as a play place. Cover the floor in a few big vegan blankets, pillows & stuffed animals with a lava lamp in the corner & you’ve got a sensory-friendly playroom! The possibilities are endless, you just have to get creative :)
RECLAIMED WOOD DESK
This desk is handcrafted with reclaimed wood! And, BONUS, this desk plants one tree per unit sold as part of a reforestation effort with One Tree Planted. The shop’s current tree planting program has assisted with the reforestation of almost 100 acres destroyed by the Californian wildfires in 2018.
