Meet Acclaimed Director Mitch Boyer and one of his favorite ladies, his dog Vivian. Mitch is an acclaimed director, author, photographer and artist.  Vivian is a star in her own right. Mitch created an amazing photo series of himself and Vivian, with a twist. Vivian has now grown to giant proportions! Check out the photos here and get to know them below in this month’s “DiMare Diaries”.

Mitch says;

1. If I wasn’t an artist, I would be bored.

2. My favorite thing in my junk drawer is a sharpie.

3. My favorite space in my home is my bed. It makes me feel happy.

4. If I could have dinner with anyone in the world it would be JJ Abrams and we would dine at Paulie Gees.

5. My walls are decorated with art by Jackson Pollock and Zaria Forman, with a few pictures of my own.

6. People would be surprised to know that I had 12 different jobs/careers before becoming a freelance author/artist.

7. My most significant memory from my childhood home is making a homemade raft in my backyard and trying to float it across the neighboring lake (my mom stopped me).

8. The most valuable piece of career advice I’ve ever received was a question my therapist asked me, “what does a ‘fully-realized Mitch look like?”

9. My favorite meal is pizza because of pizza.

10. A perfect day for me is going for an early-morning bike ride, eating delicious food, and curling up with my girlfriend and dog while watching a movie.

And now…let’s see how the fabulous Vivian filled in the blanks:

1. If I wasn’t a dachshund, I would be the queen of the world.

2. My favorite thing in my junk drawer is the food I’ve been hiding from the humans.

3. My favorite space in my home is my bed. It makes me feel like the world doesn’t exist.

4. If I could have dinner with anyone in the world it would be myself and we would dine at a cheese shop.

5. My walls are decorated with pictures of me.

6. People would be surprised to know that I’m not actually 6 feet tall.

7. My most significant memory from my childhood home is the first day I had cheese.

8. The most valuable piece of career advice I’ve ever received was to be yourself. It came from my dad.

9. My favorite meal is cheddar cheese because… Have you ever had cheese?

10. A perfect day for me is laying in bed until noon and then going to the dog park.
